Growing up in the 1980s, photography wasn't as accessible as it is nowadays. Film was expensive, and the process was time-consuming. As a result, there aren't many photos to tell the story of my childhood. What I wouldn't give for simple snapshots of the everyday moments I hold dear in my memories. My mom, making sun tea. My sister and I, belting the lyrics to Hold On by Wilson Phillips into our hairbrushes. My little brother in his beloved cowboy boots, playing with his Tonka trucks in the gravel driveway. My second grade best friend and I, toothy grinned on the last day of school. These small but meaningful moments shape who we are, and who we become. I want to give that gift to my clients-a way to hold on to the beauty in their lives. Proof that your existed. That you were loved. That your time on this Earth mattered. Photography allows me to preserve your moments, big and small, through timeless art. Together, we'll create something more than photos. We'll create a legacy.
